 Although I am trained as a traditional counselor, I believe that
talk-based therapy only scratches the surface of the healing process.
I discovered this as I began to learn about my own gifts. During
more traditional counseling sessions, I would receive information
in my body that illuminated what was happening with my clients
on a higher, more spiritual level. This discovery led me to study
the concepts of Psychosynthesis and Transformational Attunement,
practices that affirm the spiritual
dimension
of human development and healing.
It also led me to other forms
of energy work, such as reiki and healing touch. These disciplines
have
given me a wonderful context for engaging my clients’ minds,
hearts, bodies, and souls.
My background and experience include:
- A master’s degree in counseling
- 20 years of experience
as a therapist, coach, teacher, and consultant
- Certification
as a Perceptual Thinking Patterns™ consultant
for 27 years
- Over 18 years of study with Dawna Markova and
Andy Bryner in the fields of learning patterns, energy work,
and healing
- 3 years studying psychosynthesis, and affiliation
with the Psychosynthesis Center of Wisconsin
- Level 2 reiki certification
- 4 years of study with Paul Ditscheit
and work toward certification in the field of transformational
soul attunement

This present moment in my life
is made up of millions of previous moments of living,
loving and learning. Many people have been part of
those moments and I thank all of you.
In particular, it is very important
for me to acknowledge and thank my teachers for helping
me in my ongoing process of becoming the person, the
teacher and the healer that I long to be.
I am grateful to Dawna Markova
and Andy Bryner for opening my eyes to myself; to Hedi
Weiler for believing in me when I did not and for teaching
me new ways to live my life; and to Paul Ditscheit and
Cynthia Smith for taking me into fierce grace and deep
ecstacy. I am infinitely grateful to all of you.
